How can Indigo help me to relocate?

Moving to a new country can be a stressful time for everyone involved. We are here to take the stress out of the move so that you can look forward to and enjoy your new life in Gibraltar. We can help you with anything from moving your belongings to Gibraltar to applying for a residency permit, helping to find employment for you or your spouse, schools for your children and generally helping you to settle into Gibraltar.

How can Indigo benefit my business?

We are cost-effective and will save you time. We can help relieve an HR manager’s workload so they can focus on more important strategic issues rather than be burdened with the minutiae of removal vans, utility bills and rental agreements.

We can also help to provide an induction period as the employee settles into their new environment. We can help make sure that they don’t have to worry about mundane chores such as whether their phone line has been installed, but instead can concentrate on their new role.

Why should I use the Indigo?

We have an impartial, flexible approach and focus on the individual’s needs. We provide exceptional customer service and are extremely efficient, friendly and helpful! We have relocated to Gibraltar ourselves so know the obstacles and problems incurred in doing so.

Are you linked to a property agent or financial institution?

No. We are totally independent, and only work with reputable property agents and other trusted suppliers.

What is included in your service?

It is up to you which of our services you use. We will work with you to provide a bespoke package to suit your needs, and your budget.

How do you find the right accommodation for me?

We will complete an assessment with you so we know your budget and requirements. We have an extensive knowledge of the properties in Gibraltar and will spend time visiting properties until we find the right place for you.

Can you help find the right school for my children?

When you relocate to a new country with your family, finding the right school is extremely important. We will discuss all the options with you and arrange visits. We can also tell you about local activities and facilities for families and children.

What about my pet?

We can help you relocate your pet, and can help with finding vets or stables or walking the dog whilst you unpack!

What if I need something after I move?

We offer a settling in service, and are happy to help with ongoing enquiries. We also offer concierge services to help you with your day-to-day life.

Concierge FAQ's

What are Concierge services?

Concierge services are the answer to modern life’s challenge of too much to do and not enough time. You ask us to help you with your list of domestic chores and tasks, and we get them done while you focus on what’s important to you. Our services save you time, money and stress and help you achieve a better work life balance.

What are Indigo points?

Indigo points are the indigo currency and are used to pay for all our services. Rather than charge you a set hourly rate, we have devised a points system so that you pay a fair price for our different services. We don’t think you should pay the same amount for a highly qualified PA as you should for someone to pick up your dry-cleaning, and our pricing reflects this.

One indigo point equates to £2. You buy Indigo points in blocks of 10, and they are valid for six months.

How do I know how many points a service will cost?

When you log in to your account area you will be able to see a broad spectrum of costs. Whenever you request a job we will calculate the number of points you will use so you know exactly where you stand. We charge in 30 minute increments and won’t charge you for an hour’s work if it has only taken 30 minutes. Where possible, we will also try to do multiple tasks on one trip to save you money.

Why do I have to have an expense account as well?

Your expense account allows us to pay for one-off bills for items such as dry cleaning and grocery shopping and means you don’t have to have cash on you to pay for the handyman or stamps, or be at home to pay for a delivery. We will manage it for you.

Our unique client area keeps everything to do with payments hassle free. We will upload all receipts to your account page so you can easily view all the expense account transactions. There are no hidden fees.

What type of requests can Indigo undertake?

Why should I pay someone else to do the things I can already do?

Because we can save you time so that you can spend more time with your family and loved ones or leave you time to enjoy your hobbies instead of worrying about whether you’ve collected your dry-cleaning and done your grocery shopping!

Are there any requests or services that are not covered?

No. As long as your request is legal and ethical we will do our very best to make it happen as swiftly as possible. Just ask!

Will my personal details remain confidential?

Yes, your details will remain confidential and we will act with discretion at all times. We operate under a strict privacy policy that covers all issues such as data protection.

What are Indigo’s office hours?

We work from 9am to 5.30pm, but we are able to carry out tasks out of hours at a premium rate.

Can Indigo carry out tasks at weekends and out of hours?

We can undertake to carry out tasks out of normal office hours but this will be charge at a premium rate. We charge 1.5 times our normal rates for work between 5.30pm and 10pm, and we charge double time for work carried out from 10pm to 9am and at weekends and public holidays.

Can you organise for gifts/items to be sent over from the UK? If so how long will it take?

If you require something specific, let us know with as much advanced warning as possible and we will do our best to source it and find out timelines for delivery.

Can you organise gifts for family members that live in other parts of the world?

We will happily source items for anyone, anywhere. To avoid disappointment contact us with plenty of notice so we can discuss your needs and make sure it arrives on time.

If you do my grocery shopping what do you do if the supermarket is out of stock?

When you send us your shopping list we will ask if you want us to substitute out of stock items, if you wish we will make a sensible choice on your behalf. Occasionally no substitute can be made at the supermarket but we will do our best to source the item from elsewhere in Gibraltar.
